About Me

Alvina Acquaye is the founder of MindBeWell, an online counseling platform helping individuals create the time needed to manage aspects of their life that need some attention. MindBeWell was created for ones busy schedule in mind and teaches ways to make room for self-care.  MindBeWell creates a space to help individuals think clearly to adaptively cope within their environment, provides motivation to manage ones goals and inspires that small voice within ones head that needs to make necessary changes to start enjoying different facets of ones life.  

 

Alvina is a licensed professional counselor in Texas and Maryland. She received her MS in Counseling and has experience working with individuals dealing with relationship conflict, self-esteem issues, anxiety, depression and overall just having a hard time adjusting to one's day to day routine and just needing a push to get there. Alvina loves that she can empower individuals to improve certain aspects of their life for them to change their perspective on how situations impact them. Alvina has experience working with  individuals, families, groups.  She also has several years of experience providing online counseling on other online platforms and her approach combines cognitive behavioral therapy, and humanistic.

Alvina's goal with MindBeWell is to provide an online counseling space for individuals to open themselves up to change that can impact how they navigate through their environment.   

When Alvina is not working, she is doing her best to live her best life,  through working out, creating wellness content for anyone that will listen, searching for vegan recipes to replicate at home, traveling and spending time maintaining her good energy while making time for her loved ones.
